We used to have Sun…
Real, honest-to-goodness, sun. It shown down from the heavens and warmed our skin.
But then God became angry with the East-Coasters and threw mist at them day and night for weeks on end, until their hope was all but shattered.
Once upon a time I lived in Puget Sound Washington. It gets so much rain out there that my dad, who grew up near London, couldn’t handle it, and I loved it. Because the rain wasn’t constant, it was just frequent, but we’ve just been having constant, freaking, annoying, misty, rain for what seems like two weeks, with maybe another week of it slated. If we’re lucky the Sun will peek through for a few hours Thursday, but I’ve had enough. This is bullshit, and it’s totally NOT normal weather for Boston.
You can tell today’s drawing wasn’t based on anything from today owing to the fact that it has shadows, and enough UV to make my lenses go dark. Argh!
