I have about 22,000 words written in the Git book so far, and appear to have hit a mental roadblock. I fear that I’ll have to take the advice of countless professional writers and just keep writing. Fortunately this book is broken down into lots of bite-sized nuggets which can be tackled in any order. Lately my approach has been to just force myself to sit down and pick one, any one, and write until it was done. If it’s really short, I make myself do another one too.

This weekend my contributions to the book were to work on the conversion tools to take it from MultiMarkdown to Latex so that it’ll look decent when printed.

Notes: I finally settled on LineForm to create these, and am relatively happy with it. Also, that line at the bottom is my t-shirt, not my gut.
