I finally realized why I like making flow charts so much: They’re just highly structured comics. Incredibly condensed writing, an attempt to convey lots of information in a limited space, and hint of artistic display.

Alright, I’m a geek. I admit it.

Notes: Trying out new vector apps on the Mac. This image was done with ZeusDraw which I’m really not thrilled with. Compare it to the header image and you’ll see why. Partially it was getting a feel for the tool, partially it’s its inherent limitations.
